About Us

Our sanctuary began with something simple: love.

Our founder had always felt a deep connection to animals. That love turned into action the day a few baby chicks came home—purchased without much thought about what they would eventually need. It didn’t take long to learn that farm animals, just like cats and dogs, often end up abandoned, surrendered, or in need of new homes.
A friend working at SPCA shared that chickens, ducks, and other farm animals regularly passed through their doors with nowhere to go. That conversation changed everything.
From that point forward, every new animal was a rescue.
What began with a handful of chickens soon grew to include ducks, pigeons, and other small animals in need of placement. At the time, there was no formal facility—but the founder did have land, determination, and a willingness to say “yes” when animals needed help. Injured wildlife were safely released back into their natural habitats. Small animals were fostered until permanent homes could be found. Each life mattered.
As more animals arrived, we expanded organically—building infrastructure as the needs arose. Coops were constructed. Fencing was installed. Shelters were raised. What started as a small, heartfelt effort slowly transformed into a true sanctuary capable of caring for pigs, goats, dogs, cats, and even horses.
Every stage of growth was funded personally in the beginning—driven by passion, not profit. Over time, as the community began to see the work being done, small fundraisers helped us continue expanding our ability to provide lifelong care and safe refuge.
Our mission in action

Providing animals with a forever home here at the sanctuary is one of our greatest joys. But our work reaches beyond our fences.

We have facilitated urgent rescues for animals facing heartbreaking conditions—neglect, abandonment, and even imminent euthanasia. In those critical moments, stepping in doesn’t just save an animal’s life; it restores dignity, safety, and hope.
Some of our most rewarding successes have been helping animals find loving adoptive families. There is something profoundly powerful about watching a once-forgotten animal become someone’s best friend, emotional support, and daily source of joy. When we save an animal, we often witness something even bigger: we help create healing—for both the animal and the human who welcomes them home.
 Where We Are Today
Today, our 501(c)(3) charitable organization stands as a safe haven built from compassion, resilience, and community support. What began with a few chicks and a learning curve has grown into a sanctuary that advocates for animals who have no voice and no options.
We continue to grow thoughtfully and responsibly—always guided by one principle:
Every life is worthy of safety, respect, and love.
